Prof. Amelia Wear joined Capitol Technology University in 2025 and currently serves as a Full-Time Faculty in Mechatronics Engineering. With a strong background in industry, their teaching focuses on bridging theoretical concepts with practical skills in robotics, automation, and systems integration. They are committed to application-based learning, student-community engagement, and contributing to the continuous improvement of academic programs and student success initiatives. They earned their Master’s in Software Engineering from Penn State University.

  • Developed and published a custom educational video game currently in use at a nationwide organization.
