What I've learned from working with Capitol Tech students: A lot of students balance school with work, military service, or other responsibilities, which can make them especially disciplined and resilient.

My advice to someone applying for financial aid: Apply early, stay organized, and do not assume you will not qualify. Many students miss out on aid simply because they apply too late or overlook smaller scholarships. It also helps to ask questions. At schools like Capitol Tech, financial aid staff can often point students toward grants, scholarships, work-study, and payment plans they may not know about. Most importantly, be persistent. Even if one application does not work out, there are usually other opportunities available.

What I love most about working at Capitol Tech: What I love about working at Capitol Technology University is the close-knit community and the chance to really get to know students, faculty, and staff. At Capitol Tech, people are not just names in a classroom—you get to see their growth, celebrate their successes, and support them along the way.
